January 2025 – Monthly Update
Hi everyone!
We’re kicking off 2025 with a fresh look for our monthly updates, and we hope you like it!
Our team is buzzing with energy this year, and we’ve been hard at work on some exciting projects. Let’s dive into the highlights:
1. Introducing Incoming!

You might remember us mentioning this last year, but we’re thrilled to officially announce the launch of our new Incoming! system.
Essentially, Incoming! combines a booking system (P-300) with a community-driven approach to game development, complemented by a crowdfunding campaign hosted on our website.
How it works:
Book games: Browse our Incoming! catalog and book games you’d love to see published. Booking a game is free; payment will be requested once the game reaches the Collect Payments phase.
Reach the goal: Once a game reaches 300 bookings, we move to the development phase.
Pre-launch: Once two games are nearing production, they enter the pre-launch phase.
Collect payments: When 500+ orders are placed in total, we trigger the printing process.
Shipping: Games are shipped immediately after manufacturing.
Explore the Incoming! section and discover exciting new games waiting for your support. We also have two games ready for pre-launch!
2. Our First Pre-launch Campaign

To celebrate the launch of Incoming!, we’ve prepared our first pre-launch campaign featuring two fantastic games: “Iwo Jima: Hell On Earth” and “Sea & Steel: Columbus’ Voyages.”
Why this approach?
- Community Support: As a small, independent publisher, your support is crucial to bringing these games to life.
- Print-on-Demand: This model allows us to minimize risk and ensure you receive high-quality games.
- Fair Pricing: We’re passionate about offering our games at a price that’s accessible to all wargamers.
Don’t miss out! Book your copies today and enjoy a significant discount when you purchase the bundle.
3. New additions to our Incoming! (P-300).

In January, we introduced two new games:
• Crete: Death From The Sky
• Cid Campeador: Warlord
You can find them in the New Arrivals section of our Incoming! System. Please review and book them at your convenience. And remember, booking a game is free.
4. General development status of our games on the Incoming! (P-300) system.
• Sea & Steel: Columbus’s Voyages (95%): Player aid sheets and rulebooks in both English and Spanish are almost finished.
• Iwo Jima: Hell On Earth (90%): Final version complete, graphic design to start in February.
• Spartacus: Rome Under Threat (85%): Some graphic work started, solitary system nearly done.

5. IWO JIMA Free Lite PnP Version (Board Game Arena Release)

We are pleased to inform you that we are offering this game for free on our website. If you have not yet taken advantage of this offer, you can do so here: Iwo Jima – Free Lite PnP Version.
We are currently finalizing the BGA (Board Game Arena) version and will be releasing the public alpha for this game on BGA shortly.
Additionally, we are developing a BGA version of our upcoming game Sea & Steel, and the full version of Iwo Jima will be available in due course. Should sales meet our expectations, we aim to add all our titles to BGA.
6. Spartacus: Rome Under Threat (Graphic Design Progress)

The development for this game is nearing completion. Adolfo Suarez (Graphic designer) is progressing well, and Spartacus is taking shape. More updates will be provided soon.
7. Survey Stats
If you’re subscribed to our newsletter, you should have received an email inviting you to participate in our survey. This information helps us improve our services. Here are the historical periods Neva Wargame subscribers voted for the most—check out the graphic below.

If you haven’t participated yet, you’ll find the survey in each monthly newsletter email or click here to fill it out—it only takes a moment.
That concludes our update for January. We welcome your feedback and inquiries. Please feel free to comment on this post or visit our contact section for additional communication options.
We’re incredibly excited about the future of our company and the games we’ll be bringing to your tables. Thank you for your continued support!
